My 1978 MGB has blue-label overdrive and has been “back-dated” with lowered suspension, urethane bushings, an oil-cooler, twin (HIF4) carbs and Peco exhaust. She has just over 20k miles on a new engine with a ported head head by the local guru Brooks Elliott Cylinder Heads, VP-11 cam, 9.9:1 compression, high-lift rocker bushings, lightened flywheel. The Bean Car is a great MGB to drive because she develops more than 90 ft-lb from 2900 to 5400 rpm.
