40th Annual Chicago British Car Festival Celebrates a Fantastic Turnout

The 40th Annual Chicago British Car Festival brought British motoring enthusiasts together on September 13, 2026, for a memorable celebration of British automotive heritage.

An impressive 430 cars were registered for this milestone event, filling the show field with a remarkable variety of British makes and models. From beautifully preserved vintage classics to modern performance and luxury automobiles, the festival offered something for every British-car enthusiast.

For four decades, the Chicago British Car Festival has celebrated the vehicles and community that make British motoring so special. Recognized as the Midwest’s largest gathering of British vehicles, the show featured marques including Jaguar, MG, Austin-Healey, Triumph, and many others.

The organizers extended their appreciation to all the participants, spectators, vendors, and food providers who helped make the day a success. Special thanks also went to the many volunteers whose time and effort kept the event running smoothly.

Unfortunately, rain forced the scheduled awards ceremony to be cancelled. However, plaques will be mailed to all award recipients. Congratulations to the 2026 People’s Choice winners and to Tim Olson, whose 1951 Jowett Jupiter earned the prestigious Best of Show award.
